My first impression was not that motivating towards his work. Aaron Siskind achieves abstraction by moving up close to the object and finding abstract points of view, therefore creating an abstract photo. Aaron uses texture, values, and not a very consistent pattern to help create a deeper meaning for his photos, and to create an abstract piece of art. I could use the zoom technique and thee fill the frame technique to help me with my future photography.
